Administrator for Linux (m/f)

This part-time job is limited to 20 hours per week due to the workload.

Tasks

You will be responsible to deal self-dependently with support and maintenance of Linux-servers and their applications. In this position you will be the first contact for our support. You will make analyses of problems and solutions (troubleshooting) as well as programming scripts (Shell, Python, Perl). Togehter with our team members you will be responsible for the securtiy of our servers.

Requirements

Your knowledge of Linux, the configuration and maintenance of highly available webservices (Apache, FTP, Mail) is excellent and you have several years of experience. You are also well grounded in scripting (Shell, Python, Perl), Messaging (postfix/ sendmail/ exim) and databases (Oracle, MySQL). Flexible working hours are appreciated by you and you wait in the wings 24 hours a day. You are used to work at night, on weekends and on holdidays, too. Beeing experienced by practise a study is not condition for this job.
